I have added an English translation of description of the IVIEW file format to the wiki, and also made a number of small changes to both the English and Hungarian versions of the IVIEW and EPimgconv pages.

IstvanV made a video player (!) for the Enterprise (Iplay). PC video formats can be converted into Iplay format. The converter package and Iplay can be found among the downloads (PC Utils). Some example videos can be found here. English guide is coming soon. Iplay can be used like Iview: load a video directly by START or LOAD command. IPLAY.INI can be used, too. Furthermore, also a software VIC-20 emulator is available for Enterprise, made by Geco (download here). It's not really finished, yet, sound is not tested and load/save is not possible at the moment. Have fun!

Az EP jobb volt, mint a PC, nem volt hírtelen kikapcsolás után scandisk, és nem kellett újratelepíteni a Windows-t, kék képernyő pedig legfeljebb a DOS ablakban volt, az is más funkcióval.

Amstrad CPC software emulator V1.2 AY emulation routine has been improved: Envelope emulation has been added Noise emulation is better There are limitations of the emulation you can read about it in the download section. The zip file contains two version, the first is playing the first noise request for channel 0-2, it does not care further requests, the second version goes thru all 3 channels if it has any noise request and play the last if the volume value of the channel is greater than 0. Unfortunately on EP only one noise can be played in the same time, it is the limit of A6 register. Download: CPCemu V1.2

This game was written to CPC in 2005, I decided converting it when I tested CPC games in software CPCemu on EP. Loading screen has been created to the game, unfortunately the loading screen is destroyed on EP64 when the main program loads, because there is not enough memory, but the program succesfully loads (HERO can be loaded directly, you do not need to load HERO.COM), there is a cheat option also ("Cheat Y/N" text), EP64 owners do not worry if you do not see the text (you se nothing. ) when the program has been loaded, simply press one key, if you press Y, then you get infinite lives, and dynamites. There is a small surprise also, a DTM music had been inserted to the beginning of the GAME, I did not have enough space to do it, therefore the secondary screen had been removed from the game, this is the reason why room changes are not so smooth on EP than on CPC. Download: H.E.R.O.

Some my work from the last few months: - Laser Squad converted from ZX Spectrum. Included all know official and unofficial extra levels. Added capatibility for multiple save files. - Modified the original RAMDISK routine in the EXDOS. Now supported size greater than 2 Mb. (The latest ep128emu rom package use these modified versions) - new version IDE interface ROM released, the EP formated partiotions have a better compatibility with the Microsoft operating system. Memory allocation modified, now limited to max 15 partitions (F:-T:). With this lower system segment usage more programs (for example Small Demo) run correctly with hard disk system. - some bugs fixed in the FDISK.BAS and added warning message at the partition delete

Enterprise version of Wec Le Mans from Amstrad CPC with extras. The program works on enterprise which has 64kb memory too, but it is slower, extra colours could not be seen, and soft reset is not working, because the program do not leave 256 free bytes in the memory. Download: Wec Le Mans

Dowload: Sorcery+Enterprise conversion of CPC game Sorcery+, with extras. Cheat implemented, new loading screen, bottom of the screen got more colours during the game. This game EXOS compatible and requires 128K of RAM, the program loads all data into the memory it will not load anything, it saves only the HI-Score during the game.

Download: W*H*BEnterprise conversion of Spectrum game W.H.B. The program is running on EP64 too, it is using advantage of Enterprise colours If you prefer to play the game with original speccy colours (except: step counters) then press F1, if you like to change back to colourful display then press F2.

Thank you!
How are these games made? Are they writen from scratch? Or from their Spectrum binaries with "just" a modification of calls to graphics, sounds and other ports?

Hello OA128 The games by me are conversions from Amstrad CPC, or Spectrum, they are just modified graphics, sounds and other ports, I tried to add some plus to the games, ex. W*H*B got colors, Sorcery+ got the loading screen of Amiga, and more colours on the bottom of the screen, and it hes been converted from a multipart game to a single part, so it is loaded into 128Kb, H.E.R.O got a MOD style music... The hardware environment should be emulated or changed.
